- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cans of diced clams with juice
- 1/2 tsp italian seasoning
- 3 cloves of garlic
- chili flakes to taste
- Bring a medium sauce pan to a medium heat
- Add extra virgin olive oil to the pan
- Mince the garlic and add to the pan and slowly saute until slightly golden (be careful the heat is not too high and watch garlic as it can burn easily)
- Add the italian seasoning and chili flakes to the oil and allow to become fragrant
- Separate the juice from the clam meat
- Add the clam juice to the pan and bring to a simmer
- Cook sauce for 10 minutes and toss with any cooked pasta
- Serve with grated cheese
